Apple posts 3 new Get a Mac ads

Apple has finally posted those 3 new Get a Mac ads that we have been talking about from time to time. Counselor shows the Mac and PC speaking with a counselor (who knew?) and trying to work out their differences. 'Better Results' features Gisele as a Mac home movie, and a dude in a dress as a PC home movie comparing the strengths and weaknesses of each platform's movie making abilities. 'Self Pity' shows off the fact that Macs can run Office and includes my favorite line of the bunch, 'What's with the big boy clothes,' asks the PC of the Mac.
What do you think of this latest batch of ads from Apple? Sound off in the comments.
Thanks, iwit.

Why go on?
Just let me lie here and depreciate.
amazing!
I think these are great! Course, I still prefer PEECEE ... though, have to say. Mac-Guy was nicer this time around than the previous adverts ... previously he seemed rather up-himself

October 10 2006 at 9:02 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI think their great. I wonder what Bill Gates thinks. I always see Mr. Gates and Mr. Jobs standing there.

On the MacTV page in the podcast directory of the iTS, it seems their last episode was #179, the Bob Dylan ad. In iTunes, I get a "Network connection timed out" error when trying to update. Their website (http://jemca.watchmactv.com/) returns a "server stopped responding" error in Safari. I fear that MacTV is gone?

These new ads, in my opinion, aren't as good as the previous ones.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Mac as much as anyone else on this forum and I laughed at these new ads. That being said, what went from not so gently poking fun at the PC has just gone a bit too far in my opinion. These new ones were funny, but to agree with the comment by jayjay Gisele wasn't that great, Self Pity is definitely too far when you have less than 1/4 the market of the PC, and Counselor just seems to take personification too far.
Seems about time to let these gentleman get on to something else, and about time for Apples advertising group to find a new idea.
It really sounds like Gisele says "I'm a Mac Humvee."
Hah.
well, now that I've finally seen them, I must confess being rather bored by them. This Gisele really does not add anything. Counselor is the worst, in my opinion. And Self pity goes too far. That one titled 'Better results': haha. Or not.
Only laugh I had: "what's with the .. big-boy clothes?" :)
