Woot contest gallery: How Apple would re-brand an existing company?

Woot ran a contest last week that asked readers to whip out their Photoshop skills and depict how Apple might re-brand an existing company if they acquired it. The results are in and some of them are amusing enough to share. You can view all the entries in the Woot forums to see which ones didn't make the cut.

My favorite is on the right. Yeah, we all know that Apple hasn't been "Steve & Steve's" for a loooong time now, but I love Ginger Snap-Backs :)

Hey Jon, hope you weren't bothered that I used your Pimp my Safari logo on the S&S tub! It was the first graphic reference that I thought of when I was brainstorming flavor ideas. Now that I've done the 3 flavors...I am eager to mock up a few more...perhaps Scrolls like Butter Pecan should be in the works any day now.

I'm actually impressed (as a designer) with the Apple+ABC logo. A very creative combination that preserves both logos pretty well.

The Aqua treatment wasn't necessary; I'd prefer a simple B&W logo. If a logo works in 1 color, it will work anywhere.

A little strange with Steve Irwin passing away recently that something like this (ice cream mock-up) would show up. Just what it reminded me of when I first saw it.

I would have liked to see a reference to "Scrolls like Butter!".
