The Apple Store is down

You know the drill, Apple takes down their online store, people email us, and we post about it. Could this be new MacBook Pros? New iSights? New anything? Only time will tell.

Argh - the 7200 rpm HDD option is no longer available on the 15" model. And the screen rez is still a disappointing 1440x900. *Sigh*

Well, looks like Apple has updated eveything on the 15" MBP except for three things I am looking for: Magnetic latch (a la MB), upgraded graphics, and Leopard.

So I guess i will wait for Santa Rosa to see wha Apple has up its sleeve.

Looks like they added a double-layer DVD burner and a Firewire 800 port on the 15" models.

The store is up now. I've visited both the Apple Store and the Apple Education Store. Both have been updated with the MBP Core 2 Duo.
