Birth of an iTunes Store
Ever wonder what a newborn baby iTunes store looks like? The answer is that there isn't a lot there, at least not for a few hours at least. Intrepid TUAW spies were able to snatch this exclusive iTunes New Zealand pic and send it to our top secret labs before iTS:NZ went fully live.
The iTunes store is still not fully up and running, so if you want to catch it in its infancy, you need to hurry up and take a peek. Just open iTunes and choose New Zealand from the country pop-up list at the bottom of the main page.
Awww. Coochie coochie coo!

December 06 2006 at 4:31 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe prices have come down across the entire Apple reange, too. Renaissance are only the distributor now, Apple Australia set the pricing (which is in line with the global price issued from California)

I lived there for three years and the main supplier in NZ jacks the prices up carzy amounts. I used to go home and pick up machines in the US and bring them back for people and even at the crappy exchange rate back then it was still WAY cheaper. Cmon Renaissance give the Kiwi's a break.
