TUAW Video: A Mac Moment with Leo Laporte, Part 2

We continue our conversation with Leo Laporte from the press room at Macworld. Today Leo and I discuss the iPhone, the Apple TV, and if Apple is still a computer company. For those of you who hate the Netscape player (you know who you are) here are links to the iPod ready version, and the full quality QuickTime file (which, oddly enough, is the largest file but looks the best. Funny how that works).

Stay tuned for our final segment tomorrow, where Leo answers your questions.

Hi Scott,

a very interesting interview! ;-) I personally don't care about the iPhone, but i do care about Leopard and new software, which we didn't see at this Macworld. Let's hope the lacking "Computer" in Apple's new company name is not an omen...
BTW: How many parts of the interview are following and when's gonna be released?
Cheers Trent

Yo Scott. Apple makes about 6 different computers. If they announced a new one, it would STILL not take up as much 'space' at MacWorld.

Nobody cares about iPod accessories.

There was a supposed to be software, not new hardware.

Can anyone tell why the playback of these videos is so bad??? All the TUAW ones seem to choke up and be unwatchable.

Thank you guys for posting these interviews. It's interesting to hear what Leo has to say about the recent announcements.

One minor audio issue -- the levels run really low until the very end, when they jump way up as the announcer says, "Did Leo answer one of your questions?", etc.

Maybe the source levels were really low and you've done everything you can to turn the interview audio up, but if you have this problem in the future, just know that the faithful listeners are cranking their speakers up and are (unfortunately) getting blasted by the audio on the tag.

Again, minor complaint about an otherwise good interview.
