TUAW Tip: Hiding iTunes Artwork
I don't know about you but my iTunes source list gets crowded. Sometimes I just need a little more space for my list. Command-G gives me that space. Its menu equivalents (View -> Show Artwork and View -> Hide Artwork) aren't exactly hidden features menu-wise but this option isn't as widely known or as widely used as it could be. It's a simple but convenient arrow to add to your arsenal. And, speaking of arrows, did you know that you could click the top bar in the Artwork display to toggle between displaying the Album art for your currently-playing item and your currently-selected item?

Biffo: If you don't like Max people, why are you here? Your tone is snide which suggests you would be better off reading something else. Goodbye.

Oh hang on, you don't think giving pointers to other users is the same as giving out 'tips', do you? (I'd still love to know where you found your iTunes manual though, or did you just print out the Help menu.)
No wonder Mac users are regarded by so many as elitist snobs - you don't have to look any further than comments 3, 6 and 8 to see why.
I agree with ele©tro. It's not a tip to explain a menu option that has a short cut AND a dedicated button that is always visible.
These 'tips' really should be filtered out and filed under 'Obvious things in the Manual'.
Sorry Steve? If they don't know a menu item in iTunes then they don't know how to browse the web?
Don't be an idiot.
I'm with ele©tro here. It's ridiculous that 'tips' like that are posted here. What a waste of...whatever the internet is made of. If someone is so new to iTunes that they don't know the 'tip', then they sure as hell won't have made it all the way to TUAW, eh?

I have no idea if you are or not, but you certainly come across that way.
Any tips for any app should be encouraged, everyone was a newbie once, and a lot of this stuff can be very handy when you're just staring out.
TUAW, keep the tips coming - for every user that knows them, there'll be another that doesn't.
Calm down, ele©tro, not everyone is the world would have known this key combo, and the fact you did doesn't really mandate a sarcastic response, does it?
Besides, the tip about switching between 'selected" and "now playing" artwork is definitely not that widely known.
You think THAT'S something....get this.....Command-Q actually lets you QUIT iTunes! AND...if you double-click on a song, IT PLAYS! But wait, there's MORE!!!!
