Apple drops Cinema Display prices
If you're going to be buying on of those new Mac Pros, you're going to want to get snazzy monitor to get with it. And who makes the snazziest monitors around? That's right, Apple! Luckily, Apple dropped the prices of their monitors across the board. The 20-inch and 23-inch displays got a price cut of $100 (making them $599 and $899 respectively) while the monster 30-incher sheds 200 bucks for its price to retail for $1799.All of this has me wondering what will be announced on the 15th at NAB.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Nnoooooooooo!... I had just bought a 30 incher, should I cry over the lost money or the oncoming update I couldn't foresee? The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune!

Not if Leopard is gonna be big on iChat videoconferencing. Also, by making the cameras USB, the iSights can be nicely integrated into the internal USB hub.
Integrated isights are a very lame idea.

Dell's monitors use the exact same panels as Apple's displays, but every Dell has multiple connection options besides DVI, like VGA, composite video, s-video, and component video. Why pay more for less options. The bigger question is why Apple doesn't include any of these options. I could see myself spending the extra money if it did, but to pay more for looks only at the expense of options seems silly.
