I was about to resort to a system reinstall when I read a post on the apple support site.

Adam: Turn off the "copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" option in iTunes

For a 30-minute HD recording, the original 1.7GB HD file, a converted 800MB m4v (400p) in the movies directory, and a third 800MB m4v (copy of the prior) in the iTunes library appeared. This almost doubles the size of a normal HD recording. An automatic link from iTunes to the Movies directory would be better, but overall this works flawlessly.

April 19 2007 at 11:21 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI'm curious about this new support for IR Blasters. I can't find any info on this on Elgato's website. Does anybody have any idea what kind of blaster h/w they support?
April 19 2007 at 1:01 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyServer not responding, download times out. Probably because jerks like me are trying to re-initiate every few seconds... Macupdate and Apple just link back to Elgato, so no love there. I'm very pleased to see they added the ability to select which display your onscreen menu uses - hopefully it also uses the same display for all fullscreen videos as well.
