Perhaps because the entire site is about to switch to a new look -- seems like the old Aqua look to the site is finally dead... the "Page Not Found" page has a unified look. Try http://www.apple.com/oops to see...

new look to the store to go with what Steve was saying about the uniform look for OS X.......thats my guess since nothing new is listed
