you know, every store got the same treatment. all-new exterior windows, all related to the iPhone, giant iPhones in the front windows, and new employee shirts.
the interior graphic panels with the caneldar on them have been up for at least a week.

I was Apple Store Eastview last night... I didn't think it was odd... they were wearing the shirts, not a big deal.

Stopped by the Palo Alto store, and they've got everything updated, too. Not surprising, since usually they do the switch nationwide on the same night. Has no one noticed this?
The iPhone big-scale models in the front window are pretty slick. It's basically just a 30" display turned on its side, and the Mac Pro that's running it (look close, you'll see if off to the side) has the display prefs set to portrait mode so they can show the huge demo reel.
Also, all of the screen savers on the demo macs in the store are updated with an iPhone reel. It's funny to just look around and watch the people who are watching the screen saver. It's probably the most-watched apple store screen saver I've ever seen.

Apple store Soho? Isn't Soho a part of London? I though the iPhone only was launching in the US.

SoHo is a nickname for "South of Houston Street in New York City."

#5 -- there is a London Soho and a New York City Soho; this was the NYC one.

I popped by the 5th ave store yesterday. They had one "Wait is over" sign, right at the top of the stairs as you enter. The employees were wearing the shirt with the 29th logo.
And there were 8 of the iPhone displays around the outside of the cube, 2 on each side. No way any passerby couldn't get a glimpse at a giant iPhone. They're about 2 feet tall.

I was in an Atlanta Apple store last week and it has all the things mentioned here. Yes..even the stores off of the island.

Point of interest, the SoHo store is a flagship. Yes, we get two flagships on the little island that is Manhattan.

I was in the Tampa, Florida store yesterday and they had 2 large iPhones in the window and staff members were wearing those tshirts.

For whatever it's worth, the London Soho came 'way first, New York's SoHo second.
