Happy 4th july from merry England!!! When i was at school we were taught that the American colonies were the first British Empire. the second one was the rest of the world we ruled until thirty or forty years ago. That should make you feel proud, first again.

What Independence day about anyway??? I mean the Brits never really wanted you, thats why they never really put up a fight, the French and Spaniards were more of an interest!
So you were claiming Independence from a country that never wanted you, was anti slavery before your colonialists and actually turns out to have a better democracy that you guys do.... I think this should be more of an British Independence day! hahaha
