Possibly a Quicken-killer? We'll just have to wait and see, as Steve is still singing the praises of the new iLife and .Mac.

I think this iChat icon is changed to. It's on the new iMac page:

Oh and if you look very closely at the icon, it actually says "Numbers" across the top of its tiny spreadsheet.

I just opened GarageBand and a dialogue box popped up with the following (a "Learn More" button directs to a temporarily disabled page of Apple.com):

A new version of GarageBand is available as a part of iLife ’08!

New GarageBand features include:
• Magic GarageBand — a virtual band you conduct
• Multi-take recording that helps capture your best performance
• Ability to arrange and move entire sections of your song, including intro, verse, chorus, and so on
• 24-bit recordings for even higher quality
• Powerful new effects and mixing tools
• Simple music notation printing

iLife ’08 also includes major upgrades of iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb and iDVD to help you get the most out of your photos, videos, music and
websites.

If the new iWork is here, this is a double-treat for our office today! Actually, triple--we'll be purchasing 3 iMacs, plus the new iLife and now this.
I think I need a drink!

I just opened the current version of Pages and it popped up a window giving me details of the new features in Pages/iWork '08.
