Mailplane 1.51 adds iMedia browser and support for more languages

A new update for Mailplane, an email client for Mac that's dedicated to Gmail, was released today. It sports a handful of bug fixes, integration with the Mac address book, and support for six new languages. An "iMedia browser" was added that allows users to drag and drop pictures, music, and movies right into an email without opening the associated iApp. You can even create a new Gmail account right inside Mailplane, and if you download a lot of files via Gmail, you'll also like the new feature that cleans up the download window at the touch of a button.
Though Mailplane is still in private beta, you can apply to be a tester.

Ignore my previous post. I emailed ruben and now, thanks to his quick troubleshooting, I'm back on testing track. Talk about timely.
Any other users have any trouble with 1.51 crashing right after "goggle authentication" dialogue. Any place to submit feedback to?

This app looks great, I just applied and hopefully I get accepted to be a beta tester.
Ps, I appreciate that you mention you will not spam me when I give you my email address on your site.
Matteo: The problem may be that the invitation mail didn't reach you. A spam filter or a misspelled email address could be the reason. Please add yourself to the beta list by visiting http://mailplaneapp.com/beta/index.html. If you have already been invited, you'll instantly get a fresh invitation. If not, I will make sure you get an inivitation by tomorrow.

Matteo: that's weird, I applied and was accepted on the same day just last week. I have some invites if anyone is interested.

Great little app, and being actively and frequently worked on. The developer is extremely responsive to feedback. I guess not everyone will have a need for a desktop Gmail app, but if you do, I would highly recommend this.
