To find out what version of Mac OS you are running, go to the Apple logo in the top left corner, click it and choose About This Mac. From that window you will see the version number, processor, memory and chosen startup disk. Clicking Software Update will check for updates, and More Info... will open up an extensive list of everything on your machine.

my friend predicts ipod time machines. we just can decide if they will be full 3.5" touch or clickwheel.
i for some reason see the integration of an ipod and a donkey somehow. i cant figure it out, but its what comes to mind.
either that, or some device in the ipod that hugs you when you are depressed. it wont be 'ihug' though, because they want to move FAR away from that naming scheme, so itll be 'apple hug'
weird ideas? yes.

I hope it's a dual 32 GB NAND (64 GB Video Nano)
Unfold it like a flip phone to view 16X9 video,
so that one portion is all screen, one the wheel,
when it folds close, it shuts like a MacBook,
with a built-in speaker so when it opens, you can
program it to sound like a Star Trek phaser...
or speak something like, "Good Morning, Dave..."
Built in mic that accepts voice recognition...
"Pause" "Louder" "Lower" "Skip" "Shuffle" etc.
Includes a browser to surf with built-in 11n/g.
Honestly, who doesn't have access to Wi-Fi???
Developers, put the wi-fi behind the screen,
then make dual NAND Flash memory removable,
upgradeable, with a replaceable NiMH battery.
You could even sell it with a single 4 GB NAND,
upgradeable to 64 GB total (Two 32 GB NANDS).

Seriously, in all actuality, I would guess AppleTV.
They have probably got a larger hard-drive now, or
it could be an upgraded video card for MacBook.
Either way, I'd be happy. We'll see soon enough.

You know, what would be good is to have a price comparison of old to new iPods and show the price drop of the iPhone. I'll also post this comment in the "Store's down" post as it would be great to have a corresponding "Store's up" deal recapping the price differences and possibly, if applicable, a run down of sale prices on old models.
BTW, I see that you set up a post for the iPhone price drop, as this is huge news. Nevertheless, I think this would be a great habit to get into since most of us don't remember what the products from yesterday cost :-)
