Southampton's SixNationState have just released their debut albom on Jeepster (home to Snow Patrol and Belle and Sebastian.) Sixnationstate are a different beast, to be sure. Dark shades of punk run through their melodic and aggressive indie rock. "So Long" is a meaty bit of guitar pop with a chorus that rattles the larynx but still satisfies on an emotional level.
