Apple posts 3 new Get a Mac ads
Ever since the iPhone was released it seemed that Apple was funneling all of its advertising budget into iPhone advertising. This meant a lack of those fun Mac vs. PC commercials that we have all grown to love. Luckily for us, Apple has just started airing three new entries into their 'Get a Mac' ad campaign, and i must say that these are the best yet.All two of the three ads (Podium and PR Lady) focus on the general public's lackluster response to Vista, and the fact that some PC users are actually downgrading to XP. The Podium ad actually made me laugh out loud, which is high praise for a commercial.
The remaining commercial (Boxer) focuses on people switching to the Mac for its ease of use.
All of the ads have been updated with an iMac sporting Leopard's default desktop.
What do you think of the new ads? Sound off in the comments.

I don't care for them.
Because I am tired of the Vista vs Leopard comparisons.
The comparison is not relevant.
Businesses will migrate to Vista (they have no other easy options) and consumers will do whatever.
I would like see ads that are more positive.

These are a great set of ads that really shows Apple knows what there talking about.
We can remember these ads. Does any one remember the 'wow'?

I love how they make fun of the obvious Bill Gates like character...makes me smile every time I see one of these commercials.
Def. better than the overplayed iPod Touch commercials.
I wouldn't mind seeing some more positives to Leopard like the other person said, but poking fun at the competition is great.
I personally don't care either way, there are positives to all operating systems...well I'm on XP, so I guess that doesn't say much about me. But each new operating system usually has things that I really like, and also some that I dont.

Too many more ads like this and I'll just drop OS X, drop WIndows, and install Ubuntu to get away from the bickering.

"If your printer does't work with Vista, buy a new one!" - well, I was doing exactly the same thing when I switched to Mac OS X (not with printer, but with modem)

These are funny.
However, the best of the entire series is the 'Cancel or Allow' one.

@running- and on the other end of the spectrum, I have a Sanyo phone that only has drivers for OS X. Quite an oddity (it's a V801SA) but it exists.

Apple needed to find a better way to advertise the Mac platform twenty of these ads ago. Each new one they release wears out their welcome more thoroughly than the last. Is Apple actually this afraid to point out what's good about their own products? The message discernibly conveyed: "We would rather try to focus your attention on why our competitor is so bad than try to come up with reasons to choose us instead." Justin's scant mumblings about "easyintuitivesomethingorother" make him seem more of an apologist than an alternative. Surely I'm not the only one who thinks TBWA/Chiat/Day could be put to far better use for Apple than...more of these.

Seeing these ads frustrates me. As a Mac user I would much rather see the company demonstrate reasons why you should buy a Mac instead of reasons why you shouldn't buy a PC.
If I went in to the Apple Store to have a Mac demoed to me I would be horribly disappointed if the sales person instead brought out a PC that crashed constantly that showed of the cool features of Leopard.
