MacHeist bundle now on sale, includes CoverSutra
If you've got $50 burning a hole in your Paypal account, maybe some software purchasing is just the thing to quench that flame. As of midnight Tuesday, the Macheist 2 bundle is available for purchase. Although there may be some additional announcements along the way (as there were with the MacUpdate bundle), the apps bundled at the start of sales include:- ChaChing (site)
- 1Password (site)
- Awaken 4.5 (site)
- iStopMotion (site)
- CoverSutra (site)
- TaskPaper (site)
- AppZapper (site)
- CSSedit (site), if target sales are reached
- Snapz Pro (site), if targets reached
- Pixelmator (site), as we noted earlier, if targets reached
Thanks to everyone who sent this in.

Sorry Kjell -- the list as published was based on what we were told prelaunch. (Not that going to a website and clicking "buy" automatically before looking is a good idea...)

Anyone seen any coupons yet ?
Thought last year several of the companies put coupons on their sites ?

There were coupons for people who played MacHeist. My bundle is supposed to be discounted by $6. (I missed a heist) However, I'm at the buy page, and I don't yet see a discounted price.

Oops, I have $8 off -- I didn't know there was a 4th Heist, but it warned me as I was about to check out that I couldn't complete the last one later if I did. And yes, it was telling me it would apply the discount.
Hilariously enough, Xslimmer, one of the freebies in the 4th Heist, was also in the big MU bundle. So my list of duped licenses gets bigger. Ironically, I can't gift this one :)

Your bundle discount is applied at the end of the page (on the same page). Enjoy your $6 off !!

@artifex - I wouldn't trust XSlimmer anyway. I used it and it borked my system. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Good deal, especially if you don't own any of the applications, as for me. Well not much in it as already have four of the ten apps, ChaChing, Awaken 4.5, CSSedit and Pixelmator. Other then those only interested in AppZapper.
So unless they can pull something out of the bag I'll sit this one out. But if you don't already own these apps I highly recommend the heist, for cssedit and pixelmator alone it's a great deal.

Granted, it's not going to help you if you only want one or two apps in the bundle that you don't have already, but people who still find the bundle of value can gift spare licenses to friends, and do it during the buying, so their names are not in the licenses. (I wanted to do that with the MacUpdate bundle last month, too, but they didn't offer the choice, as far as I could see.)
Actually, since I know I want the bundle but don't know which of my friends want the spare license, I wish they'd have a button to let me "lock up" a license before I order, so that I can register a license to a friend later.

Hah. I had a license for 1Password for free, but now that I'm paying for it, I'll actually use it. I'll need to: between MacHeist and MacUpdate promos, plus all the holiday package deals, I'm getting too many licenses to keep track of manually. I seriously have to look to find out if I have multiple copies of a couple other programs.
BTW I love when these packages include stuff I'd never think to look for, but sound totally cool. Like the stop motion program in this bundle. Or PulpMotion in the recent big MU promo, tied into the MemoryMiner, which I've had since the previous year's bundle :) Or GarageSale, which was also in some bundle. Maybe I can use the task list thingie to tell myself to clean up my house and then finally use GS to sell off all my junk.
Phil, if you're listening, some kind of nifty calorie counter/pedometer tracking/exercise planning/weight and size graphing tool would be cool, too.

is it iStopMotion 1 or 2 in the deal? The picture shows the design of version 2.0, but it just says "iStopMotion" in the deal ? So it is the old one or the just arrived 2.0 ?

The version linked on the "download now" button on the MH site is http://boinx.com/download/files/current/Boinx_iStopMotion_2.0.2.dmg
So it does appear to be the current version.

Most disappointing bundle so far. I was on the fence with the MU one, but this one really has nothing of interest to me until Pixelmator is unlocked.

The apps offered aren't to shabby... too bad I own the major ones that I would interested in already. I wish they would throw in some stuff from MH 1 for those who didn't get that bundle.

BTW, people who did the heists got, in addition to discounts, some free programs just for playing: Monkey Lover, Sofa Control, Xslimmer, Voice Candy, Podcast Maker, Wallet, Catalog, Enigmo, WireTap Pro, Overflow, Santa's Gizmo, Bitclamp, and probably more. (I missed a heist) While they're probably not versions with normal upgrades, they're still cool.
