Reminder, talkcast tonight at 10 pm ET
Last week's show with Mike Schramm & guest Tony Walla was a lot of fun; we dove into the Apple Store support experience and covered the week's news as well. Download direct, listen in your browser or subscribe to the TalkShoe feed in iTunes. One topic that came up on the previous show: some of our readers are having trouble reading the site from their iPhones or iPod touch handhelds, with Mobile Safari sometimes locking up or causing the entire device to reset -- not at all cool. We're trying to sort out the exact issues and come up with a permanent solution, but in the meantime iPhone users can bookmark the lean mobile version of the site at m.tuaw.com to avoid problems.
Join us again for tonight's talkcast featuring Christina Warren and Dave Caolo as we get the lowdown on their WordPress 2.5 upgrades and consider the prospect of a 3G iPhone. Are you holding off on iPhone purchases while you wait for the new version, or moving ahead as planned? Tune in and let us know.
You can join the conversation on TalkShoe by using the shiny new browser-only client; you can also use the classic TalkShoe Pro Java client that we all know and love. For the web UI, just click the "TalkShoe Web" button on our profile page at 10 pm Sunday. You can also listen in on the Talkshoe page or call in on regular phone or VOIP lines: dial (724) 444-7444 and enter our talkcast ID, 45077.
As always, you can listen to past shows via our podcast feed, on the TalkShoe page, or live in the handy widget.

Thank you for trying to add an iPhone version of the site!! I've been waiting for this for a while and was considering writing to ask.
I've had tremendous problems on my iPhone in MobileSafari viewing many different sites. Even if I am not touching the screen or the page has loaded, it will quit back to springboard at any given time. I've tried to narrow down the problem and even got a replacement iPhone with no success. (It might have something to do with my 3000+ photos in the camera roll. Don't try it... It takes about 15 seconds for the camera to load!!)
Anyway, do you think an iPhone-esque version of the site will be online in the future? I've tried using the .Mac reader... but to 'continue reading' after the break, it redirects me to the tuaw site.
P.S. You can see where the load problems are by turning on the Debug console (Settings > Safari > Developer > Debug Console.)

Hi, i'm an Irish fan of TUAW and i love reading your blog and listening to the Talkcast. The thing is, though, that i never get to listen live because I'm asleep(It's 03:00 here at 22:00 in New York.) So, would it be too much to ask to have the Talkcast at 19:00 instead??? It's only 3 hours in the difference and you did all through MacWorld....
Anyways, i thought I'd just give my two cents..... Buhbye

Hi Mike/All
I also started using m.tuaw as an alt. to tuaw, because it was crashing my iPhone, and while the crash rate seems to be a little less, it still does crash my iPhone somewhat regularly.
Hopefully something can be done with the tuaw site in the future, as it is also the default when you get emailed to confirm your comment.
Please keep us updated as you you have more info
Thanks :-)
