I'm glad to see mobileme has a family plan. I will buy it if it's only $30, but probably not for $99.
Do you think they will have some way of checking if you actually buy it with your family, though?

They don't check if you buy Mac OS X Family Pack with your family or not.

the power adapter that comes with the 3G iphone is new. Smaller, lighter, and no flip-up prongs, it's barely bigger than the prong attachment on today's iPod chargers.

One thing to note is that the 3G iPhone is actually a little larger. (115.5x62.1x12.3 mm vs 115.5x61x11.6mm) This is despite what was typed on Macrumorslive ("...the iPhone 3G. Even thinner, black plastic back..."

iPhone in Canada !
Says "find your local Rogers or Fido retailer"
so it comes to both Rogers AND Fido (yeah, I know, it's the same company, but I still prefer Fido :) )

What was the point of even closing the store? That had to be the most boring and disappointing keynote I've ever seen.

Now an 8GB iPod touch costs more than an 8GB iPhone. This is, I suppose, justified by the subscription revenue of the iPhone, but the $100 difference still seems a bit steep.

And this is the problem with subsidies. Now people will expect the entire touch line to just be cheaper.

Apple.com home page has been changed to reflect the iPhone 3G. "Twice as fast. Half the price."

no sign of prices on the uk website. there's a surprise. i would imagine it's because we're going to have to pay over the odds for it as usual. $299 roughly £150 what's the betting it lists for £249?

For some reason I'm getting an error saying: "Error serving your request"

I try to enter the Apple Store US from Spain but it shows an "Error Serving Request" -I guess due to massive number of visitors.
So I have one question for you guys... Will Apple bring down the price of the iPod Touch? That seems the logical step to me, now that you can have a 16 GB iPhone for 299 bucks.

"Your email address at me.com or mac.com.
As a MobileMe subscriber, you can still use your email address at mac.com. You’ll also get a new address at me.com with your user name. Use whichever one you like. "
I'll be keeping my .mac address thank you! .me is just too Windows ME like for me.

I might have missed it, but... Is the App Store going to launch with the new iPhone? I don't see the icon they are talking about within the current iTunes store...

Gotta wait for iPhone 2.0 software in July

Actually, there are no price details other than "Half the price." I'd like to know what the prices are without a new contract (or if upgrading from the older model). Can I just extend my contract and still get the reduced price?
