Apple posts 3 new iPhone 3G ads: Everyone, Unslow, Work Friendly

Apple has finally posted three new iPhone 3G commercials on their website. In these ads, Apple seems to be pushing (quite literally) the features of the new iPhone 3G/2.0 firmware. Push, half the price, twice as fast, and other Jobsian quotes are in these new ads.

Just in case you were wondering, the song playing in the background of the new commercials is You, Me and the Bourgeoisie by the Submarines (iTunes link). You can watch Everyone, Unslow, and Work Friendly on the iPhone ads website.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

I don't know what special phones or software they are using in the ads - the real 2.0 software is sluggish and buggy. A real step down in usability - I hope Apple corrects this quickly.

I want THAT iPhone. Its 2x as fast as MY 3G! They don't show how you have to reset your phone 2 to 3 times a day, with my 1st Gen iphone it was like once a week. I Love the iphone but were is the new firmware update? I was talking to an Apple Rep yesterday and even he said his phone was a little buggy and a fresh update was due soon. Plus, are any iPhone available? Not in CT as of today. If I was one of the ATT customers still waiting for their phones that they paid for almost 2 weeks ago I don't think I would want to see Apple advertising the phone for sale.

Wish my iPhone worked as fast as the one in the commercial. Where can I get one of those? Whenever I press Contacts it takes about 10 seconds to respond.

Do they tell you that you cannot sync Outlook if it is pulling from an Exchange Server?

Not too bad, and not nearly as gratingly obnoxious as the "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads if they're going to continue using the same ad concept. :) I'm pretty sure I could make out the massive air quotes when he said "half the price", too. Poor voiceover guy...I at least hope he isn't Canadian.

Actually, any .pages file, is oddly a pages.zip, however on OSX the .zip is hidden, as if you try to view any .pages file on windows, it appears as pages.zip, the zip, contains the actual files as well as embedded items.

Just to point it out since you said "oddly", a .pages file is a container, it contains other files. If you try to send a .pages file in gmail it won't let you, since it sees it as a folder (you can't send folders in an email). For that reason, they zip it up before sending it.

Anyone notice in the Work Friendly add she opens up a file called Market Forcecast.pages.zip at 00:15.

Maybe I haven't played around enough but I didn't think mail.app opened ZIP attachments.

iWork documents are stored in zip files with the images etc used in the document in the zip file. I believe docx (Microsoft's new word format) is the same, just with a different extension. Apple chose filename.pages.zip, Microsoft chose filename.docx.

Obviously the content of the zip files differs between iWork and Office.
