Firefox 3.0.4 patches security flaws
If your needle doesn't swing towards the compass when it comes to browsing the Web, there's an update out for you too: Firefox 3.0.4 dropped yesterday, patching four critical security vulnerabilities and several less-serious holes while improving stability and addressing other bugs. Localization is coming along too: the new version features official builds for Icelandic and Thai, and beta takes for the Bulgarian, Estonian, Latvian, Occitan, Welsh and (tre bona!) Esperanto.
You can get the 17.2MB download from Mozilla or via the automatic Software Update checker in Firefox.

I think we can all agree when I say:
Firefox > Safari

@ grull27 [in the words of borat]........NOT! they both have their advantages, but for me, safari is much smoother than firefox. with safari 3 came much improvements, including my #1 gripe - no way to save your last open session - which was thankfully fixed.
also, has anyone else had any issue with the ffox 3.0.4 update? my gf ran it today and after two reboots, still can't get ffox 3.0.4 to open.

Working fine here. Seems a little quicker too, though I am sure that effect will wear off after a day LOL

Still nothing on Minefield. With Nightly tester tools nothing touches it. Stunning browser.

17.2MB? Anyone else remember the good ol' days when Firefox was just a few megabytes?

It's for all those languages that you'll never use.

Hope you don't mean Esperanto Theo!
Congratulations to Firefox for being ahead of the field in introducing Esperanto.
Only now is it being generally understood that the use of this planned language is widespread.
Esperanto is in the top 100 languages, out of 6,800 worldwide, according to the CIA factbook. It is the 17th most used language in Wikipedia, and in use by Skype, and Facebook, as well as Firefox. Yet these facts are little known.
Thankyou again Mozilla!

Hopefully this release fixes the random crashing FF3 does for me at least 3-4 times a day. But I still love Firefox more than any browser. Mozilla, oh how you just keep pulling me back.
