i love boxee so much and didn't want to jailbreak my phone just so I could run cydia
I'm glad it's finally out in the app store...the gesture controls are pretty impressive
Tried Boxee and Plex. Definitely prefer Plex. Boxee needs a lot more refinement.

My version is from Cydia
Wish Boxee could play itunes shared libraries
March 16 2009 at 10:58 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI like Boxee and Plex but my big issue with Boxee is that it doesn't index all of my music. (and it takes FOREVER with a large library 15k+).

Boxee is an excellent program if you've got a spare mac hooked up to an HDTV. It's got a larger following than Plex, and thus a few more plug-ins and community functions. This remote is FREE, and the gesture mode is almost too futuristic.

March 16 2009 at 8:59 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyOk, so what differentiates this remote from the XBMC remote and what benefits does Boxee have from Plex? A little more info to make this juicier than a press release for the remote would be nice.

I tried it once about a month ago and wasn't overly impressed by it
