Counting down to WWDC: The store, as they say, is down

As the sands flow through the hourglass, so appears the yellow sticky. If you doubted that we would see some sort of new product today, well, time to get with the program.

C'mon back at 1pm ET for all the latest updates from the keynote.

I CAN'T WAIT.

I have been using an online version of the iPhone and I really like the iPhone interface so much that I am going to get one. But I figured I better wait till the new one came out.

And it is almost here!

Hi, we've created "iPhone Developer" community for this event to share live photos from WWDC among us. Please download "Big Canvas PhotoShare" from iTunes app store (it's free, of course), join the "iPhone Developer" community (it's on the top of "New Communities"), and start posting your live photos from WWDC to this community. This is a great to way to make connection with other iPhone developers. We will announce more events during WWDC. Please stay tuned!

I understand how it creates excitement, but I still think it's a little silly that they have to take down the entire store to add a new product.

I think it works as a great prevention method for someone buying outdated items just hours before the new ones are released. Great for those that don't monitor Apple news or gadget blogs.

Think old people on dial up still shopping online. . . :P
