World of Warcraft armory app for iPhone now in the store
Our resident WoW expert is on vacation, but he sent a quick note to let us know about the new World of Warcraft Mobile Armory application for the iPhone; the free app gives you access to character details, equipment lists, in-game calendars and more. Getting to this data previously required using the official armory website or the game client itself, according to our colleagues over at WoW.com. You can see their post and gallery over here.We know that dedicated WoW players have been waiting for this app for quite a while. The advantage of a mobile, handheld view into the ongoing activities inside the massively multiplayer world is that you can more easily keep up with matters that otherwise might have kept you trapped in front of your computer for hours.
As soon as Mike S. is back in the office, we'll have a full-fledged review of the Armory app. You can download it from the App Store at will. Battle-axes at the ready!

this already existed a long time ago, the App is called WoWTalent, i'll check this one to see if it's worth the bytes 8-)

This app is a MUST have for any WoW player. I can sign up for raids or anything else on my guild calendar, woohoo!
I am a total dorkus! But its still a great app, feeding my addiction.

Looks a ton better than the Warcraft Characters app that is currently out. Hopefully it works better too.

Just downloading it now, but I've never seen such a high proportion of 5-star ratings on an app before (219 out of 245 at the moment), so I'm gonna hazard a guess this one's a winner.

i downloaded it immediately, and it's a must-have for any player. it's FREE, for one thing. i love the old characters app, but this official app is amazing – the access to the in-game calendar *alone* is worth it. now i can sign up for raids and see what runs my guild is planning during the day, when i can't log in. : )

Totally Amazing! As an obsessed WoWer, and Guild Leader, this app is awesome cause it lets me keep tabs on everything anywhere I go (yes I actually do that). I had/have Characters, but this blows it our of the water.
