Apple releases Security Update 2009-004
Amidst the Safari and AirPort updates yesterday, Apple has released yet another update today, Security Update 2009-004. This update patches a single vulnerability affecting the BIND DNS server. It's available now through Software Update or Apple's support downloads page, and is available to download for Mac OS X Leopard, Tiger (PPC and Intel) and Tiger Server (PPC and Universal).

I wanted to install the security update and a safari update on my MacBookPro.
It restarted and now, for the past hour, I have nothing but the grey screen and the thing twirling underneath.
What can I do to get out of this?
Will anything dramatic happen if I simply shut down the computer?
Darn security update!!! screwed my tiger running laptop. grey apple screen. have to do an archive and install to fix the issue! Hate when this happens with updates.

No more icon in System prefs.! In "About this Mac" in "more info" under hardware > Bluetooth it just says "No Information Found"! Spotlight can't find it anymore... I also ran the Bluetooth Firmware2.0 update a few days ago but that caused no problem in itself. Any ideas?? Thanks

It's showing up everywhere again, System Profiler, in Sharing menu, in menu bar - but the icon in System Prefs is still missing!. Although, the later is greyed out and now says "Bluetooth: Not Available" - even though I'm using the Apple wireless keyboard to type this!!

I have my external media drive connected to the macbook pro being shared through connect360 to the xbox 360 on the tv.
I don't know why it didn't want to work after the update yesterday. All is good now though, streaming like usual. No network hiccups or anything.
How come I never get the updates at the same time? Are they published with a delay in France to spare the servers from being overwhelmed? I checked for updates right now, and I don't get anything. I haven't even got the Safari 4.0.3 update yet!

Has anyone noticed that this affects Connect360? Seems like it doesn't want to work properly now that I have updated. Rivet works fine, aside from the lag you get if you are doing anything else on the network.
