iFixit shamelessly molests the new White MacBook with screwdriver
You have to admire, and fear, the eager curiosity of the folks at iFixit. When they come across a cool new product, they immediately tear it into bits and pieces -- I just pray they never launch a site devoted to domestic pet care. iKilledit. This time they've taken their scalpels and screwdrivers to Apple's newly released white MacBook polycarbonate unibody laptop and posted photos of every gory detail.
Like all iFixit teardowns, the process is thoroughly documented and designed to provide users with a guide for upgrading, repairing, and otherwise disassembling the hardware (in hopes the process is reveresable). And judging from the looks of things, this MacBook is very easy to upgrade, once the bottom plate is removed.
If you're curious to learn what makes this MacBook tick, check out iFixit's detailed teardown.

Is anyone aware of a similar teardown but for the first generation plastic Macbook? iFixit wasn't ding them back then and Google search only yields a variation of unibody, air and pro Macbooks, but not the original one. I need it because my warranty is about the expire so I might as well clear the dust from the inside.

this is about as first-generation as you can get on the Macbook...

I'd always assumed iFixit put them back together again afterwards; I've not seen many of their 'teardowns' where the device couldn't have been reassembled. Although, for them I suppose the spare parts are more than a little handy...

Work on your language. This is a disgusting title. Can't you guys at least "act" like professionals?
I used to think this was a high quality/professional site, but not anymore. The quality of TUAW is going down the drain these days. TUAW will probably allow any guy who can spell his name to post.

In what language does the word "molest" qualify as profane?
If anyone needs to work on their personal virtues it's you. You can start by acquiring a sense of humor and working on your lack of maturity.

Let the flaming begin.
It's just sad. You need to work on your lack of professionalism.
