The store is back up!

The Yellow Sticky Note of Doom is back and the Apple Store has once again gone down. What could those evil Apple Geniuses be up to at the main Apple Store site? Are they planning? Scheming? Plotting to Take Over The World?

Here at TUAW, we have a basic rule of thumb: the store becoming unavailable generally means nothing but maintenance on Sundays and possible goodies on Tuesdays. But who can say? Apple does what Apple does and we are just bystanders to the march of Apple History.

So what does the downtime mean this time? Let us know your predictions in the comments. Also, don't forget to ping us when the store goes back up. We'd love to know what changes you track down.

Thing is, you don't know it's not news until it comes back up again without obvious product updates.

Until then, hey, it's a little suspense, a chance to dream, and it's cheaper than a lottery ticket, with a greater chance of some tangible benefit.

It is annoying that the Apple Canada Store only shows a few apple made accessories for the iPad whereas the US store has tons. Right now we can only choose the case that Apple makes. Booooooo!

Ordered my 3g unit in Canada. Forgot to order the micro SIM. Duh! Was probably the first in Canada to cancel an iPad order.

Only carrier available right now is Rogers. You can add the iPad to your existing data plan for $20/month.

Pre-ordered my iPad in Switzerland. The Apple sales person said I was their first iPad customer in the French-speaking part of the country. Yay! :)

Sad I know but I waited until 1:10am (GMT) this morning and ordered a 3G iPad. Not sure why it takes so long to update the website especially when the same changes had to be done previously to the US and Austrailian websites.

I see the mobile operators (O2, Orange and Vodafone) all offering different packages. Seems like Orange is offering the best deal.

I rang Orange this morning on the number that Apple have provided and the guy I spoke to didn't know anything about it micro SIM cards and didn't even know about the iPad. He kept calling it an 'iPod'. Come on Orange keep you sales team up to date.

Apple need to change the number on the website for Orange because it is incorrect. Come on Apple get your facts straight.

Same in Canada i guess on the apple website it says how much the Rogers 3g plan for the iPad will be but the Rogers site still doesn't know :)

Can't wait for my iPad to arrive. But why do i have to pay $0.20 to get the rogers micro sim with my iPad?
