As expected, the Apple Store has gone down in anticipation of today's hosted media event. Can you sense the antici (wait for it)... Am I imagining things or does it seem like the store went down much earlier than normal compared to past events where the store needed to be updated? I wonder if this is an indication of a major change.

I'm guessing the new iPad will be available to order today. The store always goes down on the day of iPod announcements, but it wasn't down the day of the Verizon iPhone announcement.
