The Apple Store is down... and back up

Is it maintenance or is it MacBook? What are you most looking forward to when the online Apple Store comes back up? Will there be some new surprises in the store? A new MacBook Air? With Thunderbolt? Something to replace the iPod classic? Let us know!

Update: Back up now. Nothing major to report.

I would like to see an ipod touch with the memory of the classic. I have a lot of music and videos that I would like to preserve and view at leisure using apple tv, etc. but the classic interface is not suitable for this.

And why would the update any devices with only telling us on their website. Apple isnt like that as we know from the past 1,000 years... they update when Jobs' speaks...

Do we have to know every time when the Apple Store is down? If there are some new products then sure, put when they don't update anything?

The MacBook Air product page now shows the built-in webcam as a Facetime camera under both the Tech Specs and the Gallery of pictures.

It has showed that since the new Air models came out last fall. My MacBook Air box from my Day 1 purchase says that as well.

was in an apple store today in sydney and they would not let me order a cto macbook air because the guy said there is a refresh coming up . now if it takes 2 weeks for a cto order then one can only assume they will be refreshed this week as expected with Lion which he confirmed will be released this week .. sounds pretty legit to me

By this time, you would expect that we should be able to update websites without any downtimes as brought by "periodic maintenance".
