TUAW Coverage of the App Store: Reviews, tips, announcements, news, and more.*
~ By: Lisa Hoover
Ommmm....Ommmmmmm..... - The next time you're feeling stressed, play a few games of iZen Garden and find your happy place.
News you can use - The App Store is cool enough that you'll be tempted to visit madly all day long to see what's new. Luckily, now you don't have to. Just grab the RSS feed and let news of new apps come to you.
Fa, la, la - If you were hoping to find software in the App Store that will turn your iPhone or iPod touch into a music studio, you'll have to wait a little longer. There are a few that do a fair job of helping you tune your guitar or scratch some samples, you still won't be winning a Grammy anytime soon.
Buddy, can you spare some change? - Itching to try some new apps but low on scratch? Don't worry, there's plenty of cool ones to try that will only set you back 99 cents.
What are you looking at? - We've been having a great time putting new apps through their paces so we can let you know what you need, and what you don't. We've looked at apps for social networking, blogging, ebooks, news, lots of games, and, of course, the free stuff. Find them under the heading "First Look."
No big shock there - Is it any surprise that the folks behind Insanely Great Tees would also make insanely great apps for the iPhone and the iPod touch. Yeah, um, no, it's not.
Buy this game, go bananas - You pretty much can't turn a corner lately without hearing about Super Monkey Ball, but it's rep as one of the coolest iPhone games out there is well-deserved.
Tap, tap. Is this thing on? - If you can't bear to be away from Guitar Hero for more than 10 minutes, well, you're out of luck when you leave the house. The free game Tap Tap Revenge is a great stand-in though. Tap; just tap the screen to the beat of the song that's playing and try to beat your last score. Granted, it's not like jamming to an Aerosmith riff, but it's something to do during that boring meeting at work.

We love you too, mom - It's no secret that we love Evernote almost as much as we love our own mothers so we were overjoyed to take a first look at Evernote for iPhone.
Line, queue, row, rank, file - Did you wait in line all day for your new iPhone? Yeah, us too. Of course, one of the first things we did was play with the App Store.
