John Emmert

After working for more than 40 years in the TV News industry I retired in 2011.  I had the opportunity to work in some wonderful places including Miami, New York City, and even three years in London.

I am an avid sports fan.  Living in Las Vegas also offers me the opportunity to follow horse racing and the wagering side of the major sports.

I have been an Apple devotee since the late 70s.  My first computer was an Apple II and I now own an iMac, a Macbook Air, an iPad Air, and an iPhone 5.

Besides following sports I spend time shooting scenic landscapes using HDR and Las Vegas serves as a great jumping off place to a lot of National Parks and scenic locations.
