When you first launch Convertbot, you see this "locked robot" for a couple of seconds. The 002 indicates it's the second "bot" from Tapbots.
Want to know how to work with Convertbot? The first time you launch it (or at any time later on) you can watch an animated demo of how the app works. I'd like to see other developers do this.
What do you want to convert? Convertbot lets you select between temperature, time, volume, area, speed, currency, and other units of measure. You simply rotate the wheel to choose.
You simply spin the wheel to select between the units. Here you have speed in feet per second, miles per hour, knots, kilometers per hour, etc...
To enter a value, you tap on the display at the top of the screen, which brings up this numeric keypad for entry. Conversions are calculated as you tap in the number.
