Daylite 3.9 Review
- Daylite Calendar View
The calendar shows different categories in different colors. In a workgroup, each person's calendar can be coded in a different color.
- Entering a new task in Daylite
Here I'm adding a new task. Note that you can link different people to a task.
- Setting up a stage in a project pipeline
One of the most powerful tools in Daylite is being able to develop project pipelines for a variety of projects. You can add stages to each project, then assign tasks and appointments for each stage of the project.
- More of the Project Pipeline
This is an excellent view to see what projects are being worked on, where in the project pipeline you are, what activities are taking place, and any custom forms that have been developed for the project
You can list opportunities, and even create estimates within Daylite. This is an example of an estimate created in the tool.
- Daylite Server Admin
From this home screen of the Daylite Server administration tool, you can see that the server is running, how many users are licensed, and when the last backup was performed.
- Databases in Server
Each database running is listed here. You can set backups, perform maintenance on the databases, and also see who has made an offline copy of a database.
- Setting backups
Here's where you set up the database backup frequency and time.
- Daylite Touch Clients
If there are Daylite Touch users who are hitting the database, they'll be listed here. You can wipe each Touch client's iPhone database with a click.
- Daylite Touch Objective View
Here's the Daylite Touch view of the same project we saw earlier.
- Daylite Touch Calendar - Month View
Month view shows all days during a month with an appointment or meeting with a small dot. Tapping a day shows the appointments for that day below the monthly calendar.
- Daylite Touch Calendar View
To open a particular meeting or appointment, you simply tap on it.
Tasks can be listed by their due date, whether or not they are complete, by location, by category, and by who they were delegated to.
