HFF will try to automatically find your Mac using Bonjour.
If it can't find it though it's pretty simple to configure it manually.
When your Mac is added the correct model and wallpaper will show up. Nice!
Remotely accessing all of your files is pretty magical.
This is the default Files view. A future release is said to pull your custom "sidebar" preferences from Finder on your Mac.
The Favorites view makes it easy to quickly navigate to commonly-used files and folders.
The actual search takes place on your Mac and the results are sent back to your iPhone.

Progress meter shows how far along your file is. A 2 MB PDF loaded fairly quickly over AT&T 3G.
Once the file is loaded tapping on the screen will load up this contextual information allowing you to "star" the file or share it with friends.
You can email a link to the file or attach the actual file.
For the security conscious, the link is randomly-generated and only lasts 48 hours.
For smaller files, it's just as easy to attach the actual file.
