Here I'm looking at two bookmarked, high-priced resorts at the Beaver Creek resort near Vail, CO.
If there are many hotels in the scrolling list at the bottom of the screen, you can choose to bookmark them to cut the list down to a manageable number, then show only those bookmarked hotels.
After looking at the "brochure" for a hotel, you can choose to make a reservation. Fill in your billing and credit card info, and the reservation is made for you in seconds.
Here I let Hotelpal do a search for hotels near my home. It's a pretty bleak search (no nice resort hotels, just "suites"), but it did a good job of picking up all of the locals and putting 'em on a map. Here I'm comparing some hotels side by side.
