As you can see, the BassJump looks quite a bit like a Mac mini, except for the black speaker grill on top. It's five inches on a side, and just over two inches high. No AC adapter is required.
In the box is documentation (including how to repurpose the box!), a carrying case, and a USB cable.
And you will want to repurpose the box. It's nice looking!
The system preferences pane gives you the controls to turn the BassJump on and off, select a profile, or create your own profile by adjusting the volume and crossover frequency.
In the menu bar, BassJump has its own icon with a VU meter that really works!
