This is the exterior of the black leather case. The tan case has no texture, it's just "raw leather". You can also get several exotic leathers, including horse hide!
Here you see the general layout of the TypeCase.
A closeup of the keyboard shows that the key layout is almost identical to that of the Apple Wireless Keyboard... except for the Windows logos on the command keyrs.
Here's a side-by-side comparison of the TypeCase keyboard (above) and the Apple Wireless Keyboard (below). They are virtually identical in size.
Here the iPad is propped up with the rather flimsy stand, and I'm ready to start typing.
Notice how that leather is bulging a bit next to the screen? It's not too distracting, but if you're obsessive about such things, it might make you mad...
Here's another little bulge.
Here the strap that keeps the case closed with a magnetic latch is sticking out a bit.
And here, it's been retracted back into the back cover of the TypeCase.
If the prop had a piece of metal in it, or even a stiff plastic, it wouldn't bend like this. This is the one negative that worries me about the TypeCase. This is just too flimsy.
