Lenovo's rumored ThinkPad X200e gets two more spy spots, another shot of believability {Engadget}
Nov 3rd 2009 12:24PM Lenovo already has a netbook line in the IdeaPad. It has very good build quality, but is missing the obvious ThinkPad features this lappy has. I'm guessing this is "more" than a netbook, despite the small size and white shell.
Viewsonic debuts new range of ViewBooks, ViewBook Pros {Engadget}
Oct 21st 2009 2:02PM Well at least they didn't give it a black bezel and center the ViewBook Pro name under the display in silv ... oh, wait.
Barnes & Noble Nook e-reader leaks a bit early: $259, pre-orders are live (video) {Engadget}

Oct 19th 2009 12:51AM "... diversification in the ebook space sounds like a good thing on paper."
I see what you did there.
In other news, as a musician who often totes around a stack of 8.5x11 dead trees with musical information printed on it, I'd love to have a reliable, responsive 8.5x11 e-ink PDF reader that simply displays my PDF originals at full size with no repagination. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
TUAW Review: StuffIt Deluxe 2010 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Oct 3rd 2009 3:00PM Like an earlier commenter, I keep Expander on hand for the occasional .sitx archive and disable as many of its other features as possible. I'm surprised they keep making it, really.

Dear Auntie TUAW: What happened to the mini player in iTunes 9? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Sep 10th 2009 10:44PM I agree with the reasoning for the GUI change, but changing the keyboard shortcut from Cmd+Ctrl+Z just seems capricious. Now my muscle memory is useless ... and I can't even remember the new shortcut at the moment.
Dual-screen gScreen laptop gets pictured, hopefully launching this year {Engadget}
Aug 27th 2009 11:53PM Wait three months ... it'll have 8 bytes of RAM at half the price.

Aug 27th 2009 12:20AM Maybe this time it won't be delayed 48,000 years. They drove me absolutely mad with the release schedule for the original.
Joyswag: Halo Wars Mega Bloks [update] {Joystiq}
Aug 19th 2009 10:26AM UNSC Hornet. I'm not big on dirtying up my LEGO collection with some Mega Bloks, but for Halo I'll make an exception.
Friday Favorite: AppZapper {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jul 31st 2009 3:16PM My favorite is AppTrap. Free, runs as a System Preferences pane, no fluff.
Samsung's S9110 touchscreen watchphone syncs with Outlook, on sale this month (updated) {Engadget}
Jul 22nd 2009 11:46AM Too bad about the screen being installed upside down on the demo unit, though.

Israeli cable TV provider tries its hand at streaming games on demand {Engadget}
Jul 21st 2009 12:50AM Misleading artwork, at the very least. Those are Wii covers with the Nintendo references conveniently airbrushed away, and at best they'd be using the PS2 versions of that crapware.
The technology required for streaming Wii games would be absurd. For any other console you could just wire up a control pad to your cable box, sure, but the Wii would still require a motion sensing IR remote, an IR receiver, and a box to handle all that on your end, not to mention some method of mapping the geometry of your TV to the simulated display on the host ... ridiculous. Once you get to that point, you'd be better off just buying the Wii (and some better games).
