Hardware that supports iPhoto '09's geotagging {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jan 7th 2009 1:34PM cheaper, more memory, and better GPS resolution (ie- location is recorded 5 times a second!)... I have two of these; throw one in my pack when out hiking and forget about it... dump the tracks using a card reader when I get home and use GPSPhotolinker for the final hook-up. Easy!

Four reasons to get your parents to use Leopard {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Apr 7th 2008 6:47PM I've taken the iChat remote-help process to the extreme, with my parents leaving this month on a 3-yr around-the-world 4x4 trip through some very remote areas. I'll be dropping in on the trip often, but while back @ home, managing their computer woes via iChat Screen Sharing. It's the only way I found to seamlessly traverse firewalls and NAT boundaries. Now, if someone could tell me how to do a Time Machine backup to a local disk from a remote computer over the internet, I'd be tickled pink.

Tip of the Day

Holding the Command key (aka the Apple key) and pressing Tab will cycle through your open applications. It's easier to Cmd-Tab if you are Copy (Cmd-C) and Pasting (Cmd-V) to and from various applications.
