Can you have a life and work at a startup company? {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Mar 8th 2008 3:40PM I've always worked at places I liked. I'm having fun at work and a social life after it too.
No stress. I do my best, usually more than this. I mean if I have to work 40 hours straight to meet a deadline and it's not enough in the end, that's bad, but why have stress?
It also helps to understand what really matters and what not. Failing to do something that really matters (to your company, or your client) is fatal but if you can get away with something less important. Putting priorities is crucial.
Special LIVE CalacanisCast tonight {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Jul 6th 2007 12:06PM Jason, I'm unable to download the show. The enclosure points to http://podcast-audio.calacanis.comvideos.mahalo.com/calacanis/calacaniscast29.mp3 but my DNS is unable to resolve the hostname.
CalacanisCast beta 29 {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Jun 22nd 2007 1:55AM Jason, the enclosure URL does not work (audio RSS feed)

Dec 3rd 2006 5:26AM I'm sure most listeners from Greece, like myself, knew the meaning of your surname :-)
I personally know a couple of them. It would be interesting to give us some stats on the geo-distribution of your show downloads.
My New Podcast... {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Oct 27th 2006 6:19AM How about Richard Stallman? On what could/should be the equivalent to OSS on a WEB2.0 world? I'd love to hear this interview!
iTunes on two computers with one iPod {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Oct 16th 2006 2:23AM I think Jason's problem comes with the computer+player bundle. It's ok when you have one computer and one player but when you have more of each it gets complicated. I think the real solution is a stand-alone player. Something like Mylo (haven't tried it) that have built-in wifi and can download songs without the need for a "base station".
Looking forward to a stand-alone wifi-enabled iPod... (Then I'll just use my Mac to backup the iPod).
Apple to trademark Podcast? (or "How to fight the good fight") {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Sep 24th 2006 11:52AM This is really stupid from Apple's part. I guess MS would be willing to pay us podcasters money in order to call our shows Zunecasts and not podcasts. Well, Apple, is this what you want?
On improving the iPod's aging UI and experience {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jul 22nd 2006 6:55PM I would like to extend the on-the-go playlist idea. I would like to be able to define a couple of playlists from iTunes. Then when I keep the select button pressed, instead of adding the song to the default on-the-go playlist, I would like to be presented by the option to select the playlist.
Something like this could work as a way to tag songs, podcasts, etc.
