Apple.com named Best Redesign of the Year
The awards continue to roll in for Apple. Earlier this week, the editors at InfoWorld named Mac OS X "Best Operating System," and the MacBook Pro the "Best Notebook Computer."Today, a panel at .Net Magazine have identified Apple.com's recent makeover as their "Redesign of the Year." Remember the Aqua-style tabs that graced the top of the pages for so long? They disappeared in a redesign last year that made the whole site more closely resemble their product line.
The panel at .Net commented on the online Apple Store in particular, saying, "...the store is the one that's furthest ahead in terms of design and the markup behind it."
That's nice, because a lot of people will be looking at the store in a few days.
