A very fresh case for your iPod shuffle
Add this one to your minty audio collection: an
Altoids case for your iPod shuffle. Jake’s case builds on
an idea from Derrick Story and goes one step further by making
use of the iPod shuffle’s original case to provide greater protection for said shuffle.
Photos and construction instructions live here. I am all
for recycling and reappropriating, and this iPod shuffle case does both admirably. Good job, Jake!

I made a case for my shuffle out of the Altoid's Gum case. it's smaller and fits the shuffle perfectly. I cut foam to fit in the bottom and drilled a headphone hole on the side. Prett simple, about 10 minutes (and I used the Altoids green Apple flavor case.. =) )

That's not the Altoids iPod shuffle case, this one is. The shuffle is protected and you can listen to it without taking it out of the case (there is access to the headphones input).

thats neat now... actually something i would consider doing. its really neat how all the home made shuffle goodies are popping up while the after market is trying to develop goodies!

This could be the ultimate tin for an iPod, a bit big for the shuffle though.
