TiVo to VCD / DVD via OS X

Found this over at PVRblog. Matt Kingston has written a ”guide on how to transfer video from a Series 1 TiVo to the Mac and edit/burn it to DVD (or VCD/SVCD).” Here’s the link. Very useful information for TiVo owners.

If, instead, like me, you own a ReplayTV, you’ll want to grab either mReplay or DVArchive to replicate steps 1 through 5 in the tutorial.  Steps 6 and on should work fine.
