Mac mini March: Opening Mac mini Sans Putty Knife
Here’s some info for all you would-be Mac
mini hackers who have avoided breaking open your mini via putty knife in fear of scratching or damaging the casing:
Mac mini Hacks forums has a nice how to complete with
pictures that covers opening the Mac mini without a putty knife and without any scratches. What’s the secret passkey
you ask? Little wires from an eviscerated network cable looped around the tabs, first used to pull each tab back
and free from the casing, and then pulled together to free the entire Mac mini from the casing.
Neat. Now there is really no reason to pay for Apple’s overpriced RAM.

We're poor bloggers. We don't have TV. You have TV? What's it like?

It sounds like someone could make/sell a Mac mini Cracker.. Remeber the old MacSE Mac Cracker that helped you open the case. A metal/hardplastic comb ( with fingers to press the plastic lock tabs ) if it works might sell well if bundled with a 512MB or 1GB memory upgrade.
