PodBrix launches PodShirts.com

iShirt

Hot on the heels of their first limited edition iPod shuffle shirt PodBrix has launched a new website called PodShirt to market, you got it, an array of iPod related apparel (mostly shirts I would bet).

Their first product, pictured at the right, is the iShirt (though on the shirt the i is larger than the rest of the letters, so that doesn’t really make any sense).

Am I the only one that thinks this iPod shuffle shirts are ridiculous? The front of your shirt isn’t a handy place to keep anything, other than a communicator from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The iShirt isn’t a limited edition, so there are plenty for all! The shirt uses the clever magnetic clasp pioneered on their early shirt, and will set you back $28.99.

And a little piece of advice, don’t cover the ‘r,’ because if you do it really changes the message of the shirt.

I second the bluetooth comments - once they remove the wires it will be mucho better. They need more space on the small ipods though before I'd get one. Or at least a storage spot. Maybe you can put a flash card in a slot on the sleeve and the ipod on the shirt. When will they have ipod ornaments that play christmas music?

Not only is the shirt idea lame, I think the whole "wearing your iPod as jewelry" concept is stupid as well. I love cellphones, iPods, etc. as much as the next person, I just don't see the need to wear either as a fashion accessory. One more point on this: Until the shuffle offers some sort of bluetooth wireless headset option, it's way too cumbersome to wear outside your clothes; all the wires simply get in the way. http://randomtruth.blogspot.com/

This is a helluva lot better than http://apple.weblogsinc.com/entry/1234000477036125/. Since their integrated magnetic clasp is still patent-pending, is it still safe for me to steal their idea? Ah screw it - i'm just gonna use VELCRO!
