New .mac bonus: Sticky Brain Discount

.Mac Apple has again updated their .mac Member Benefits page with a 50% savings on Sticky Brain 3 from Chronos ($19.95 marked down from $39.95): ”StickyBrain is your universal note manager. Use it to store all of the miscellaneous information that doesn’t fit neatly anywhere else. This third generation note manager makes it easier than ever to find and access your notes from any application. StickyBrain is bound to become one of the most used and useful pieces of software on your computer.” I’m a DEVONthink guy, but I know a lot of people who use and love Sticky Brain.

The free software and little bonuses that Apple continually releases with .mac is one of the few things that keep me from getting overly aggravated with the intermittently buggy iDisk and email performance.

I use DevonThink as well but I'm thinking of grabbing my upgrade price on the latest version of Sticky Brain. For me they serve two different purposes. I use SB for light weight note keeping that easy to access. I use DT for my heavy lifting storage: mostly long articles that keep fairly well categorized. DT makes the categorization a breeze which what I really love about it.

Hmm, i was just blogging about how useless .Mac is - and then I got my monthly newsletter-- a tiger discount? some good news about updating iDisk space... no not even a "we're working on making things great". I hate .Mac, I got a demo of Sticky Brain with some Mac Magazine a while back, wtf? Really- we have to revolt - face it we're all in on the @mac.com address. We are losers. (non .Mac users screaming and weaving little flags while peaking over their PSPs)
