My money is on it having something to do with prepping for Tiger, too.

"This is not needed for mac's with tiger." Thats what I meant, is Tiger going to update all the firmware stuff.

Yes, except for the firmware ones. You could erase the drive a thousand times and the firmware would still be the same.

CK, all these little things that are "prepping" for Tiger, I am assuming I do not need to worry about them if I am going to do a clean sweep and install Tiger, right?
