Stay at the Algonquin and Borrow an iPod
The legendary Algonquin Hotel (home of the Algonquin Roundtable of which Dorothy Parker was a member) is offering their guests a little something extra. As of this month, on a first come first served basis, guests at the Algonquin can borrow an iPod loaded up with a number of audio books including bestsellers and tomes on the history of the Hotel itself.Best of all you can request a book be added to the iPod, and they will do it. Talk about service!

If you leave with a towel or a bathrobe in your suitcase, they charge you like $500 a pop. Just imagine how much of a premium they charge you if you bogart the iPod!

Not sure why you would really want to "leave" with the iPod at all? Unless of course you don't own one. But with all the slew of iPod hacks that "suck" down all the songs/books off of the iPod into your personal iTunes library, all you would need is one night with your Powerbook and iPod cable ;) I have been having quite a bit of fun with this hack on a few people here at work that needed to "charge" up there iPods off of my Powerbook. Last time I said, "Thank you" for the entire Beatles collection. HA
