Widget Watch: Widget Manager
This one isn't actually a widget, but it is a preference pane for OS X Tiger that makes managing your widgets a little bit easier.Widget Manager "allows you to inspect, remove, and disable Dashboard Widgets" without all the bother of navigating to /Library/Widgets/, removing the unwanted widget and logging in and out of Tiger.
It is free donationware. Check it out.

This is great. My only gripe about widgets is that new versions are released so often because they weren't thoroughly tested before hand. And from my experience, they don't automatically replace themselves.

Even though I think that widgets are generally pointless, this preference pane is a must have! I can't believe that for such a small (48KB) file that Apple couldn't have included this with Tiger.

Pretty cool. This might be a good way round the theoretical widget exploit mentioned here: http://stephan.com/widgets/zaptastic/
