Tritton USB 2.0 Video Card for Mac mini

trittonWant to add a second display to your Mac mini? If so, you'll be glad to hear that Tritton is making its SEE2, the industry's first USB 2.0 to SVGA adapter, Mac mini compatible as of July 5th. Actually, this means it will be fully Mac compatible, working with any system running USB 2.0, but since the Mac mini is the only system that doesn't support some sort of monitor-spanning and cannot add the necessary port to support it via a PCMIA card.

So I just called Tritton. They are hoping for March/ April or 06. To release it. Only one bug left to fix.

I just ordered a mac mini and 2 19inch dell monitors for additional work space. Will this work to run my system and dual monitors? I was suprised not to find a whole lot about this on the mac forum.

This looks like a great option for iBook users like myself that don't feel like hacking the system (and getting the inherent hardware issues) but still having a multi-monitor setup.

Hmm, I can actually see this being sued on more than just the Mac Mini. While all of Apple's other current computers will screen span (iBook's and eMac's need a hack), most of them will only let you add 1 more screen. You could use this with a Powerbook, to add a Third, Fourth or even Fifth Screen! :)
